Workshop on "Femto-, Astro-, Spectro-Ethyne"
Brussels, 2 - 5 May 2012 (lunchtime to lunchtime)
ULB - Campus Plaine - Salle Solvay

Ethyne, also named acetylene (C2H2), has attracted over the years and currently concentrates research efforts among a significant group of scientists investigating fundamental topics in chemical physics. The workshop will address these topics, including rovibrational spectroscopy, intramolecular dynamics, excited electronic states, aggregates, reactivity, astrochemistry and astrophysics. The mechanisms around acetylene will be put into perspective by dedicated speakers. The final list of invited speakers is provided on the poster of the workshop (see below). We shall welcome about 25 additional, regular participants, expected to contribute a poster presentation. Each talk will last for 35 minutes plus 5 minutes for discussion.

If you wish to make a contribution to the special issue in Molecular Physics dedicated to FASE, please do so through the Mol. Phys. website: http://www.tandf.co.uk/journals/titles/00268976.asp

Note that it is not planned to have a program for accompanying persons but Brussels is full of charming touristic opportunities.
